PayerScape (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a web-based payer intelligence platform for ABA therapy agencies. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use our website, application, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

1. Information we collect

Account and agency information

When you create an account or complete onboarding, we may collect:

• Your name and work email address
• Company or agency name
• Primary state and service counties
• Authentication identifiers from our identity provider (Auth0)

Team member information

Agency administrators may invite team members by name and email. Invited users receive access linked to the inviting agency’s service area and subscription.

Billing information

Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We receive subscription status, customer identifiers, and billing metadata from Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

Usage and technical data

We may automatically collect information such as:

• Browser type, device type, and general location (derived from IP address)
• Pages viewed, features used, and timestamps
• Log data needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Service

Workflow data you enter

If you use paid features, we store plans you save, tracking status, notes, and related metadata to support your credentialing workflow. This is agency business data, not patient clinical records.

2. How we use information

We use collected information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Authenticate users and enforce account roles (admin vs. team member)
• Scope payer and plan data to your selected service area
• Process subscriptions and team seat billing
• Respond to support requests and communicate about the Service
• Protect against fraud, abuse, and security incidents
• Comply with legal obligations

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Service providers — such as Auth0 (authentication), Stripe (payments), and hosting infrastructure, only as needed to operate the Service
• Your organization — agency admins and invited team members within the same account may see shared agency profile, service area, and managed plan data
• Legal and safety — when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of the Service

4. Data retention

We retain account and agency data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us.

5. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to certain processing. Agency profile fields such as name, email, and company may be fixed after signup; service area updates are available to admins in Settings.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and local storage as needed for authentication sessions, preferences, and security. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not function without them.

8. Children’s privacy

The Service is intended for business use by agencies and professionals. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. International users

If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our providers operate.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-app notice where appropriate.
